About Dr. Fong Yiu

Shuk Fong, Yiu MD is a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her medical degree from St. George's University, located in the Caribbean island of Grenada. Dr Yiu is a native of New York City. After completing residency in Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey in 2020, she returned to her hometown in Queens, New York City. As an OBGYN, Dr Yiu believes the importance of making patients feel as comfortable as possible during your visits. Dr Yiu is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has attended the Congressional Leadership Conference in Capitol Hill which involves advocating for the extension of postpartum care. Besides obstetric care, Dr Yiu is also skilled in laparoscopic surgeries and certified in robotic surgeries. Along her training, Dr Yiu has mentored numerous medical students as she believes that the students today are our future in medicine. Dr Yiu is a passionate healthcare advocate of the LGBT community. Special interests of Dr Yiu include holistic medicine, nutrition and fitness. Dr Yiu is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
