About Dr. Ostrov

Nikole Ostrov, MD, provides comprehensive gynecology services at Symphony Medical’s Andrus location in Yonkers, New York. 

Dr. Ostrov has a special interest in treating women who are experiencing pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and sexual disorders. She also helps patients explore their options for contraception to prevent unintended pregnancies.

Dr. Ostrov is a member of the American College of Gynecology, the International Pelvic Pain Society, and the North American Menopause Society. She is the recipient of several awards from the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, including the Super Doctors Rising Star award, the Top Doc 2020 award, and the Humanism in Medicine Award.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire, Dr. Ostrove went on to receive her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. 

Dr. Ostrov completed a residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, and spent additional time there to become its first fellow in minimally invasive/robot-assisted gynecological surgery. She spent nearly a decade in a Manhattan private practice before joining Symphony Medical.
