I am very disappointed with the poor customer service I experienced. Their computer system incorrectly showed my insurance as inactive. Unlike every other clinic I’ve been to, the receptionist made no attempt to call my insurance or verify the information. Instead, she stood up and walked away without any explanation. Moments later, a woman—whom I assume was her supervisor—approached me and began talking about how expensive laboratory work-ups are, which felt unnecessary and dismissive rather than helpful. It took only one quick phone call from me to my insurance to confirm that my coverage is active. When I shared this, another staff member—who was at least polite, though initially reluctant—ultimately accepted the phone from me and spoke with my insurance and resolved the issue.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. If it weren’t for the excellent care I receive from Dr. Ostrov, I would not return to St. John’s.

Dr Luxs and his team are excellent in what they do. They are very knowledgeable, kind to the patient, listens to your concerns. The office is immaculate and they run on time. The whole experience from the front desk to seeing the Dr was absolutely wonderful.

Did my shoulder and my knee many years ago that's a long time now time for replacement that's what happens you just get older and parts wear out excellent surgeon would recommend them to anybody

My exam was quick and painless. Dr. Ostrov is a great doctor. I needed to schedule a mammogram and ultrasound. The receptionist said they couldn’t give me the appointments and I have to call back.

Dr. Luks’ office visit from beginning to end was a caring and wonderful experience. They were able to take x-rays of my hip before Dr. Luks examined me. He was very professional, explaining the x-Rays and my situation. He provided non-surgical options for moving forward in my recovery. I would highly recommend him.

From the very first consultation, he took the time to explain everything in clear detail and made sure I understood every aspect of my diagnosis and treatment options. Dr. Luks is a very knowledgeable and experienced orthopedist. He performs a complete history and assessment, takes his time with you at the visit and really listens. Highly recommend, especially for athlete/sports injuries.
