From the very beginning, this surgeon demonstrated an extraordinary level of professionalism, knowledge, and compassion. The pre-operative process was thorough and reassuring, with detailed guidance that included physical preparation, training recommendations, and nutritional advice to ensure I was in the best possible condition before surgery. Every step was clearly explained, which gave me confidence and peace of mind.
Post-operatively, the care was just as exceptional. Follow-up was attentive and consistent, with continued guidance on recovery, training progression, and nutrition to support healing and long-term success. I never felt rushed or overlooked—only supported and genuinely cared for. This surgeon’s expertise, combined with their holistic approach to patient care, made a profound difference in my experience and recovery. This was my first meeting with Dr.Luks and I’m overwhelmed by his testing procedures on my shoulder. I feel confident that my father made the right choice in driving me 60 miles to see him.
I will wait the results of the MRI, and discuss the results and options with Dr.Luks and my dad.

I am very disappointed with the poor customer service I experienced. Their computer system incorrectly showed my insurance as inactive. Unlike every other clinic I’ve been to, the receptionist made no attempt to call my insurance or verify the information. Instead, she stood up and walked away without any explanation. Moments later, a woman—whom I assume was her supervisor—approached me and began talking about how expensive laboratory work-ups are, which felt unnecessary and dismissive rather than helpful. It took only one quick phone call from me to my insurance to confirm that my coverage is active. When I shared this, another staff member—who was at least polite, though initially reluctant—ultimately accepted the phone from me and spoke with my insurance and resolved the issue.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. If it weren’t for the excellent care I receive from Dr. Ostrov, I would not return to St. John’s.

Dr Luxs and his team are excellent in what they do. They are very knowledgeable, kind to the patient, listens to your concerns. The office is immaculate and they run on time. The whole experience from the front desk to seeing the Dr was absolutely wonderful.
